Keira ran toward the ship. She noticed the robe tieing the ship to the dock had just been cut. Keira ran faster and jumped at the end of the dock and landed face first on the deck. "d**n that hurt." she said standing up. Keira heard the sound of a pistol going off again, and she layed back down quickly on the deck behind some box. "They don't give up do they?"

"Aww shoot," Tora cursed, ducking to the opposite side of the mast, "I thought you were looking for new crew members. Why'd you pick up these guys? Where d'you keep the guns on this ship?" Should've asked Keira to pick one up in Tortuga when she asked, she thought.

"Well, we were, but as you see, we ran into a little trouble." Keira peeked over the side and pulled out her gun. She aimed and fired. Luckly she hit one man and killed him. "Told ye there would probably be a dead body in Tortuga. I keep my word. Let's get this ship movin' faster!"

"Anyone going to get the wheel?" she called across the deck, jerking a hand up infront of her face as a bullet skimmed pastwhen she appeared from behind the mast. She was at the opposite end of the ship, still hoisting the sails. The wind caught them slightly and the ship picked up some speed, but wasn't blowing full on into them. Someone needed to turn the wheel for the ship to go at it's fastest.

Keira looked around and noticed that Silas was still by the box. She ran to the wheel. "Let's get out of here." she said as the wind picked up more and the ship started to move a little faster. Keira looked back and noticed that the men were at the end of the dock. She grabbed her gun and fired once more, missing them.

Silas looked at the ship, and swore. "Hold on! Wait for me! That's MY ship!" He got up, swearing again as a bullet flew by him, and hurled himself against the side of the ship, holding onto the side. Climbing over, he shouted, "What're you waiting for? GO!"
OOC: I'm leaving today for about 11 days, so yeah... Silas won't be here to captain anything... sorry... so yeah... no captains...

Tora watched the sails swing round as Keira turned the wheel. It only took a second for the wind to catch in them and the ship began moving much faster. The wind had also picked up. Tora heard Silas hit the side of the ship. Not good to be leaving your captain behind on the first day in his crew.
(ooc: I'm not gonna be here from next Thursday, wither, for about 2 1/2 weeks, so only half a crew, too)

Keira left the wheel for a second and pulled Silas on over onto the ship. "Glad you could join us Captain." said Keira walking back over to the wheel. The wind was going pretty good and she looked back over her shoulder and saw the men on the dock get smaller, and smaller.

The danger passed, Tora went to find her bucket. It had moved quite a distance from where she had left it, and now had a bullet hole in it. "D*mn," she said, almost admiringly, nudging it with her boot. Then, sure that it had cooled down, she kicked it back to its original position by the mast, and sat down.
